Gary Neilson B.Sc. (Hons) Real Estate/SCSI (Assoc)
Gary completed his Degree in Real Estate in 2016, finishing top of his class with a 1st Degree Honours. He was subsequently awarded with the ‘Anthony O Neill Memorial Medal’ for Academic Excellence. This is an achievement Gary is very proud of. Gary is also an associate member of the Society of Chartered Surveyor Ireland (SCSI).
As owner and Managing Director of Quantum Property Consultants, Gary is responsible for the overall strategic development of the company. With over 16 years’ experience in the property industry, Gary has established a loyal client base and has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in most sectors over that time.
His clients encompass a wide spectrum of industries including developers, retailers, building contractors, private investors, receivers and financial institutions. Gary and his team at Quantum Property Consultants will continue to deliver the high service levels their clients come to expect.
Gary’s career in the property industry commenced in early 2005 in residential sales with Re/Max selling a number of new home developments for some of Ireland’s largest property developers. In 2008 he moved to Coldwell Banker Estates as Managing Director and headed up their city centre residential department.
During this time he was responsible for managing up to 18 staff who were primarily involved in residential sales, lettings and property management. In 2012 he was made MD of Coldwell Banker Commercial (Property Consultants) offering the traditional brokerage and professional services of a full serviced brokerage firm. Gary was instrumental in developing the company from a standing start to the successful business it is today.
Gary has a forward thinking and positive attitude and is known for completing tasks in a professional and timely manner. He looks forward to this new challenge and sees it as a great opportunity in his career development.
Adrian Power-Kelly (Consultant) – Professional Services
Adrian Power-Kelly is a Consultant to our firm and brings over 35 years of experience in Professional Services. Adrian qualified as a Chartered Valuation Surveyor with Harrington Bannon, Chartered Surveyors, becoming an Equity Partner in charge of both the Asset & Property Management and the Rating Consultancy departments in 1998.
In 2005 Adrian was appointed a Partner in Costello Commercial, heading up the Professional Services department, advising private investors, public institutional clients and private companies on a range of property issues including rent reviews, “Red Book” valuations, asset management, commercial development and agency before becoming a Professional Consultant in 2010.
Adrian is a past chairman of the General Practice Division of the Society of Chartered Surveyors, a serving member of the Society’s Valuation Professional Group, a panel assessor for the Society, a lecturer in Advanced & Statutory Valuations and is a Registered Valuer under the RICS/SCSI Valuer Registration Scheme.
His areas of expertise include “Red Book” Valuations, Rent reviews, Rating, Compulsory Purchase and Landlord & Tenant issues.

Nessa Ryan – Residential Lettings & Property Management
Nessa heads up our lettings and property management division. Involved in residential sales and lettings while working with Coldwell Banker Estates, from 2008 she has been managing their extensive property management portfolio.
Nessa brings a wealth of experience with her to Quantum Property Consultants has attended numerous property management courses in order to upskill and keep abreast of new legislation in the market she operates in, which she reports and advises on to our clients.
Nessa will also be responsible for the continued growth and development of this important division for the company and will be focused on continuing to offer our management clients a personal and professional service. Tony Lawless (Consultant) – Property Development
Tony Lawless is a property professional with over 28 years’ experience in property development and construction. A Chartered Quantity Surveyor by background, his career developed into a number of senior property related roles in housebuilding and commercial development.
This experience includes 15 years as Construction and Development Director with one of Ireland’s largest property development companies. He presently works with a range of private clients, assisting them with the development and management of their own schemes and projects. His work covers the life-cycle of projects from initial assessment and appraisal to the development of concept designs, design team appointment, scheme development, planning, contractor appointment and construction.
He also works closely with development companies and contractors in the construction and management of schemes as well as the development of their own business strategies.
